In December 2023, I got the privilege to give a lunchtime recital at St. Botolph-without-Aldgate in the city of London. It was an exciting moment for me – my first truly public music recital. i preprared a series of pieces, by bach, Brahms, Debussy, an improvisation to warm up (I find this helps create a free atmosphere) and some Liszt. Here is a video of the Liszt – such a beautiful piece, a melodious transcription of a song he wrote.
